Everyone feels down, sad, or fed up at some point in their lives – it’s very normal for our moods to fluctuate like this.

Depression is the one of the most common mental health problems. It can change the way you feel, think, and what you do.
Symptoms may include:
- Feeling down most of the day
- Not getting enjoyment out of life
- Lacking energy or feeling more tired than usual
- Low on confidence or self esteem
- Struggling to concentrate on things
- Changes in sleep and appetite
- Suicidal thoughts or thoughts about harming yourself
Depression can affect you in many ways, at any age, and from any background. It can change your life structure and routine. There isn’t a single cause of feeling depressed, so it’s a personal journey for everyone.
