Two women talking at a small table while holding a note pad and a mug

We were delighted to hear our Sophie Melvin over the airwaves, being interviewed by BBC Radio Nottingham!

Sophie is a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner in our East Midlands team, which delivers talking therapies to people in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, and Mid Notts.

In the interview, Sophie explains how we are continuing to support people throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. She also discusses common struggles with self-isolation and loneliness, concerns about job security, loss of purpose and routine, and sadly losing loved ones to COVID-19.

She emphasises that there is no ‘right or wrong’ way to react to our current challenging circumstances. No one should feel they have to struggle on alone – we’re here to help.
