Anna explains more about digital therapies, which is one of the free, confidential therapies we offer.
Anna: Many of us have busy lives, we have lots of competing demands on our time. Digital therapies are a way of accessing CBT at a time and place that suits you, via your computer, tablet, or phone. You can use them anywhere, anytime. It also means you don’t have to travel in for an appointment to see a therapist or practitioner, you can use the treatment at home, or when at work for example.
Some people use the programmes on their smart phone on their way to and from work, on the bus or train. All you need is a device that can access the internet. They’re written by experts and tested in clinical trials to demonstrate that they are effective. They provide all the CBT tools, videos, and information you need.
We will support you regularly to use the programme and answer any questions that you may have, as you progress through the programme and put the tools into action in your daily life each week. Research shows that they are a really effective option for all ages.
